Teresa McLaren is a visual communicator specializing in educational, medical and scientific illustrations and animations. Teresa received her Masters in Science in Biomedical Communications from the University of Toronto.

Shortly after receiving her Masters, Teresa moved to Osaka, Japan where she worked for a year illustrating English language textbooks. Upon returning to Canada, Teresa launched her independent illustration business and has worked with various companies and organizations in the development of medical and educational visual content.

Teresa lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with her husband, two children, and a golden retriever.
